Who Should Attend?
We designed the Professional MBA for full-time working professionals who want to continue their career development while earning a graduate degree. The average ProMBA student has over 10 years of work experience.
To support a range of industry perspectives in the classroom, the ProMBA welcomes candidates with an undergraduate degree other than business. Our students come from a wide range of industries including agriculture, biotechnology, consulting, education, hospitality and more.

Leadership Focus
The leadership development component is a two-part program that includes an academic curriculum and a leadership development program. The academic curriculum will expose you to key business and managerial concepts intended to strengthen your executive capabilities. The skills-based mentoring model provides guidance, accountability and support as you develop critical skills along with the creation of an individual leadership development plan.
Experiential Learning
The ProMBA program challenges students to improve processes, achieve operational excellence and conduct a transformative project. You will apply skills from the classroom to your organization in real-time, resulting in more effective leadership and immediate impact in your areas of expertise.
Speed to Completion
Unlike a traditional MBA that takes two years to complete, we designed the Haslam Professional MBA so that you can earn your degree in an average of 16 months.* As a Haslam student, you have the ability to balance your full-time career while returning to school, so you can bring pertinent skills and business principles back to your organization, immediately.

The Professional MBA program has a blended format with an average of two to three Saturdays a month on campus and two live online evening classes each month.
You will receive a Master of Business Administration.
The Professional MBA Program does not require the GMAT/GRE for program applicants with 5+ years of work experience. For those under the work experience requirement, GMAT/GRE waivers can be requested in which a decision will be made based on relevant work experience and prior academic performance.
